The only items that expensive are the jewel ones :c There's an effect for 900.
I agree with you on that, but Alfirin won't make the comments be worth like 5r. They'll be worth more, I'm sure, so it will be fair-ish.

Well, with the jewel-ribbon ration being 10-25, it's bound to be expensive, yes D:
Though they DID say they'd tone down the prices a little if it gets too expensive. I think 'too expensive' is higher than 900 ribbons? We did have some pretty crazy dresses on the last JB, one even amounted to 900 ribbons! D:

That dress was expensive yeah, but ofc, given that it was a ribbon item already, the price will keep being 900r probably. And there's also the secret shop stuff, which is naturally crazy expensive.
But like I said, she's still thinking about the amount of ribbons each comment will give. She will probably try to make it as fair as possible, since this site is largely a chance for us to get Jewel items. Eh.

The problem with the prices on Pupe is the following:

The used to be a time, where you would get 10r for EACH COMMENT you made,
and there were 3 reset times a day.
With that, you could earn 600r a day, just from writing comments.
Because of that, prices of course went up in the shops.
But after they reduced everything (only 20, not 60 comments a day and 5r, not 10r per comment),
the prices in the shops never went down again.

I still remember how many people had problem buying everything they wanted,
just because the shop prices did not get back to normal. Sad

No, you got the timelines wrong lol.
I heard that in the beginning, there where 3 resets per day, but each comment was worth 1r, so 60r per day. Then, because of something, it turned to 1 reset per day, but 2r each comment.
Around 2011, there was a promotion, 5r per comment in non-friends and 10r per comment in pupefriends. The promotion had an end date, but it was extented, then suddenly went away, leaving us with 2r pc to non-friends and 5r pc to friends. That's how we still are.
At least I believe it's like that. Never hear of 3 resets per day, 10r per comment.

Well, I was around when the 10r thing was going on and there were definitly 3 reset times,
at least for a certain period of time, before extending the 10r per comment thing.
Else I would have never gotten the sick amount of ribbons that I had back then.

Edit: It doesn't matter though, whether or not there was 1 or 3 reset times.
Shops never got cheaper again, which was a mistake of the staff. v_v

I remeber those dark times when we got only 2 ribbond per comment. And when the Perfect daily dressup bonus was smaller. Was it only 100 ribbons? or 200? I don't remember anymore XD But 500 is way better.
I think poupee's prices went up all the time. I remeber that 900-ribbon dress very well.... T__T

And btw, are we already getting ribbons in bentewee when we dress up and log in? I've got nothing so far. (But my poupee has had other problems as well... Importing took several days and my calendar does not work. So I don't know if it supposed to be so or if my poupee has more problems.)

No, I know the ribbon items will have their original prices, I was just giving an example of a crazy expensive dress that came around in a normal shop, not in a limited one. Those 1,2k items from the limited shop were game breakers, but god, they were cute.

I don't remember the 3 reset times, but I do remember the 10 ribbon thing haha <3 I made my fortune during that time, oooh golden time!

Of course Why wouldn't they be? xD I know 07s items are pretty rare, but the programmer has nothing do gain by putting expensive items on the shop for everyone to buy, right?

No, there's still no ribbons going out in the fansite. The organizator is still pondering how much we will gain Very Happy

My calendar is buggy too. The bonus doesn't go, it always shows like it's in the first day of the chain. But it probably has something to do with the above.

I can see most of the calendars of other poupees normally though. There are a few that looks the same as mine.

reset the calender, so I'm not worrying about that on too much rightnow. I'm sure things will be fixed soon. Hopefully ♥

I wonder what will happen to all the shellspring items. Like Tanabata, April Fools Day Bows and such.
Do you think those will be Shops, too?
I think it would be awesome if they would pop up as limitied shops only available for 2-3 days.

Man, before I knew of this site saving the poupée stuff, I went on a deleting spree and got rid of over half my stuff. *bangs head on floor OW* Now I regret it. Ah well. If I can get things back eventually, I will be happy. hehe Just sad cuz a lot of my stuff was from when I first joined poupée in 08. *old*

back in the day you got 1 ribbon for comment and 5 for dress up, none for log in and 100 for the month.

Hi there! It's great that this site was made, as I know a few people that were upset about the closing down of Poupee. I sent her a message and hopefully she will join at some point!

I'm a bit confused about the whole 'importing' and 'invitation' things I see on here, though. Could somebody please explain a little? I'm not very technical, but I messaged the invitation thing anyway, just to be sure. Laughing
